At the crux of our work is real problem solving and change management. This focus spans from essential thought-partnership to managing the various components necessary for authentic and effective strategy development.  We take a human-centered approach to all of our work because we understand that at the end of the day, organizations are groups of people intentionally organized to accomplish a common set of goals.   

STRATEGIC PLANNING

For an organization to be successful, it is essential that adequate time is taken to develop a plan that best positions it to be impactful. In order for a strategic plan to be successful, we believe that it must move beyond basic statements about an organization’s priorities, and clearly drive towards taking action.  Our strategic planning approach combines the review of existing internal and external data with authentic and deliberate engagement of a wide range of stakeholders, resulting in an inclusive process that focuses on implementation and generates buy-in from start to finish.

ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS ASSESSMENTS AND DATA DIAGNOSTICS

Identifying and applying the right solution can only happen when issues have been accurately diagnosed and root causes have been uncovered.  Our approach to conducting needs assessments is grounded in the exploration of people, processes, systems and data, and analysis of how each of these pieces intersect with the others to increase efficiencies and effectiveness.  Our data diagnostics deal more specifically with an organization’s use of technology but still through the lens of people and processes to provide a comprehensive view of opportunities for improvement.

Identifying a core strategy isn’t the end of the road for a client. The real work and support is needed throughout the implementation phase. We are dedicated to supporting clients through pilots or full-scale implementations of new initiatives with the goal of building capacity to ensure ongoing success. We have experience with establishing project management offices, leading user adoption for new technology, and monitoring the progress of implementation efforts through cycles of continuous improvement. With HCG’s support, real change is made with tactical, guided support throughout the process.
